Perspex Flat Cut Letters

The first step of installing flat cut perspex letters is the drawing or template this is very important, if you get this part wrong then you can end up ruining the nice newly painted wall that your customer has provided for you!

Ensure that your drawing is exactly where you want it to be, I always like to check this a couple of times and always make sure that I stand back and have a good look.

Drill the wall at the correct points as marked on the drawing, I us a small drill bit to start just in case of any metal stud work behind the plasterboard. Then you can drill the correct size hole. Insert the wall plugs and then screw the female cups to the wall, these cups do come in various sizes the cups used for this particular job needed number 6 size screws.

Once all the cups have been fixed to the wall I feel this is a good time to clean up any mess created by drilling the wall. After all the mess is cleared you can now start to attach all the letters to the wall, this is quite an easy process if all the cups are in the correct position.
